Astrophotography Special Interest Group (ASIG) – Meeting 1 of 2

Are you interested in astrophotography? Do you want to learn or improve
your skills in astrophotography? Do you enjoy pictures of the Moon, the planets, the Sun or the deep sky objects, and wonder whether you can take similar pictures?

In April 2022 we launched a special interest group (SIG) within DAS, focused on astrophotography. The group is being led by Tommy Lease and Greg Fogarty. The ASIG serves beginners who want to start in this hobby, intermediates who want to improve their skills, and experts who would like to share their skills. The ASIG’s next monthly meeting, via Zoom, is scheduled for Wednesday, September 6th, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. MDT.

The second ASIG meeting this month is scheduled for Wednesday, September 20th, at 7:00 p.m. MDT. This meeting will feature an overview of post-processing of images, and will be hosted by ASIG’s Tommy Lease.
