Standley Lake Star Party

Join Standley Lake Stargazing for an outdoor star party to celebrate the new year! Here’s your chance to see the famous Andromeda Galaxy as well as the stunning rings of Saturn and the Galilean Moons that surround Jupiter, along with other deep-sky gems of the Winter sky like the Perseus Double Cluster, Pleiades, the Crab Nebula, and the Great Orion Nebula. No telescope or prior experience is necessary; they’ll set up scopes for everyone!

You’re welcome to bring your telescopes, too. Volunteers can help you get set up if you need assistance.
