- Astrophotography Special Interest Group (ASIG) – General Meeting for DAS Members: 7:00 PM (more info).
March 5:

- Look for the Moon, Jupiter, and Aldebaran high overhead in Taurus around 7:00 PM.
March 6:

- First Quarter Worm Moon: 9:31 AM.
- DAS Outreach w/Girl Scouts: 6:00 PM at the Chamberlin Observatory (more info).
- Standley Lake Virtual Astronomy Program: 6:00 PM webinar (more info).
March 7:

- Mercury reaches its greatest elongation (farthest distance from the sun at 11:00 PM): Look for Mercury in the western evening sky right after sunset.
March 8:

- Look for the waxing Gibbous Worm Moon to join the Mars, Castor, and Pollux triangle in Gemini around 7:00 PM high in the southern sky.
- Open House: Saturn, Venus, Uranus, Jupiter, Mars! 7:00 PM at the Chamberlain Observatory (more info).
March 9:

- Daylight Saving Time begins: 2:00 AM: Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead by 1 hour.
